This week the progress is getting back on track at Canvas GWX after a few days delay due to the hurricane. The site overall was in good shape post storm, thanks to the preparation completed by the builder in advance. The westernmost units are drywalled and painted, kitchen cabinets and countertops are installed, and we even have power in the first few units! On the eastern side of the site, we're making great progress with drywall and paint, and cabinet installation will begin soon. Rooftop decks have also been recently installed on these units, as shown in the newest aerial photo below.
Our current construction timeline indicates that the first units will receive their Certificates of Occupancy later this fall, with closings scheduled for 30 days afterward. This includes Units 1-7 and 29-40. We hope to have homeowners moving in within a couple short months!
Units 8-28 will be ready in Spring 2025. Windows are installed, and framing and roofs continue at a fast pace for these units!
